So'ham

So'ham is the natural sound of the breath itself — 'So' on the inhale, 'Ham' on the exhale. It points directly to the Vedantic truth that the individual self (jiva) is not separate from universal consciousness (Brahman).

ॐ

When the breath and this mantra align, inquiry becomes effortless. Each cycle of breathing becomes a silent affirmation dissolving the sense of separation between self and all. This is Vedanta not as philosophy, but as lived recognition.

Open KalpX, select this mantra from the library, and use Quick Chant to begin your japa practice. Set a count goal — 11, 108, or 1008 repetitions — and chant at a pace that feels natural.
