About This Practice
A short oiling of the feet, hands, and heart with the inner posture of 'giving the body something it already deserves,' rather than fixing anything.
Ayurveda frames abhyanga as daily care, not remedy alone; approached with the posture of offering — not correction — it fits the joy register without collapsing into wellness-generic. (Founder flag: §F of AYURVEDA_ROOM_MAPPING.)

How to Practice
- Warm a small amount of sesame oil (or coconut in a hot season) between the palms.
- Massage the feet with slow, kind strokes; say to the body silently, 'thank you for carrying me.'
- Move to the hands; work the palms and each finger.
- Place an oiled palm over the heart for eight slow breaths.
- Rest for a minute before washing; keep the posture of offering, not fixing.
✦
Benefits
- Extends the joy-state into the body without converting it into practice-as-correction
- Honors the body's current sattvic state rather than treating it as a problem
- Provides embodied anchor for a joy visit that would otherwise stay purely mental
