About This Practice
A mug of warm water with grated ginger and (once cooled to tolerable) a teaspoon of honey, sipped slowly through the kapha morning window.
Ayurveda classifies honey as 'lekhana' (scraping) when raw; ginger is ushna and laghu. Together they mobilize kapha-stagnation at its time-of-day peak.
