About This Practice
A 4-step evening micro-ritual: dim the lights, warm the feet, exhale longer than inhale, rest the palms over the belly.
Ayurveda identifies dusk as the vata-prana junction; warmth at the feet, longer exhales, and hands at the lower belly each draw prana downward — a three-lever version of the classical vata-pacifying recipe.

How to Practice
- Dim overhead lights; switch to a lamp or candle.
- Rub the palms until warm; hold them on the arches of both feet for 8 slow breaths.
- Inhale for 4, exhale for 6–8, for five rounds.
- Lie back or sit; rest both palms over the lower belly; feel warmth spread.
- Stay here until the body signals it is ready for sleep.
