About This Practice
Hold a mug of warm water, warm milk with a pinch of cardamom, or warm ginger water. Cup it in both palms, feel warmth through the hands, and breathe slowly.
Charaka describes fearfulness, coldness, and tremor as classic vata vitiations; the counter is not courage-talk but warmth, weight, and rhythm. A warm mug delivers all three.
