The day's middle is where most people lose the thread. One small stop at noon keeps the rest of the afternoon in shape. This is not a break for the phone. It is a return to the body before the body gets scattered.

How to Practice
- Stop whatever you are doing. Put the phone face down.
- Feel your feet on the floor. Feel your back in the chair.
- Take four slow breaths, out-breath a little longer than in.
- Ask: what is the one thing that still matters this afternoon?
- Return to the day.
