Three fixed points in the day, the same time every day. Wake, one meal, one study or work start. The rest can flex. These three hold.

Students and young professionals often reach to control the whole day and end up controlling nothing. Pick three anchors, keep them steady, and the day builds around them. This is the simplest form of rhythm in the dinacharya tradition — a few points that do not move.

ॐ
  1. Pick one wake time. Same every day, including weekends within an hour.
  2. Pick one meal time — the one you most want steady.
  3. Pick one study or work start time.
  4. Write the three on a card. Keep the card visible for a week.
  5. Adjust nothing else. Only these three.
