"Today, I honor the small repair."
The Sankalp
When I notice I spoke sharply, or missed someone, or withdrew — today I practice the small repair, before the rift hardens, without drama.
Why This Matters
Satya in the relational field includes truth-telling about one's own misstep. The Yoga-Sūtra tradition frames svādhyāya-in-relation as the honest noticing of where one has fallen from dharma. Growth sankalp for this motion is not grand apology but the small, timely repair: the text at night, the acknowledgment in the morning, the adjusted tone. The vow is to repair small things small, before they become large things.

How to Live This Today
- At day's end, honestly name one small misstep with someone close.
- Repair it within 24 hours if possible, in low-drama form.
- Do not over-apologize — a clean acknowledgment is enough.
- Return to the bond clean, not with a debt carried.
Benefits
- Prevents accumulation of unresolved small harms
- Builds culture of honest acknowledgment in close bonds
- Satya as a lived practice, not a concept
- Models maturity for children and partners
