Spiritual Growth
"Today, I interrupt with the opposite."
The Sankalp
When a harmful pattern begins to rise, I place the opposite thought in its way and stay there.
Why This Matters
Patanjali calls this pratipaksha bhavana — when a harmful pull rises, hold the opposite in mind. Not suppression. A redirection that interrupts the pattern before it runs its full length.
✦
How to Live This Today

- Name the opposite stance you want to take.
- Hold the opposite in mind for a few breaths.
- Act from the opposite once today, however small.
Benefits
- Patterns lose their automatic grip
