"Today, I look for the root confusion."

The Sankalp

When I am caught, I ask what I am mistaking for something else before I reach to fix anything.

Avidya — the root confusion — is at the base of most inner struggle. Seeing permanence where things are passing, seeing the self in what is not self. Before acting, look one layer under the trouble. The real answer often lives there.

✦
  1. Name the trouble as it is.
  2. Ask: what am I taking for permanent that isn't?
  3. Ask: what am I taking as me that isn't?
  4. Act from the clearer view.
  • Less reactive fixing
  • Root-level clarity
  • Fewer repeated loops
