"Today, I name the obstacle clearly."
The Sankalp
I name what is standing in the way — fatigue, doubt, scatter — instead of fighting a vague fog.
Why This Matters
Patanjali names the antarayas — the obstacles to practice. Vague struggle is heavy; a named obstacle is workable. Saying "this is doubt" or "this is fatigue" lowers the weight by half.

How to Live This Today
- Sit for a minute when practice feels blocked.
- Name the obstacle out loud or on paper.
- Pick the smallest response to it.
- Return to the practice in a smaller form.
Benefits
- Obstacle stops being vague
- Practice resumes in a workable shape
- Less self-blame
