Why This Matters

The kleshas — avidya, asmita, raga, dvesha, abhinivesha — color how the world is seen. Named, they stop being invisible. Unnamed, they run the day. A small check before a big move saves a great deal of trouble.

  2. Ask: is this clear sight, or a klesha?
  3. Name which one is likely coloring the view.
  4. Wait a few breaths before acting.
