"Today, I rest in the small pause."
The Sankalp
Between in-breath and out-breath, I let the small pause be a resting place.
Why This Matters
Patanjali names the natural pauses of the breath as a doorway. The gap between in-breath and out-breath is already there. Noticing it turns it from a skipped moment into a short rest.

How to Live This Today
- Sit for a minute. Watch the breath.
- Find the small pause at the top of the in-breath.
- Rest there. Do not lengthen it.
- Find the pause at the bottom of the out-breath. Rest there too.
Benefits
- Built-in rest inside the day
- Breath steadies on its own
- Mind finds small stillness
