"Today, I offer the body that said yes."
The Sankalp
It could have said no — some days it does — and today it said yes, and I offer that willingness forward to the work, the people, the presence this day asks of me.
Why This Matters
Chronic-illness and low-energy days teach the user to stop taking the body's yes for granted. When the body participates — stairs without strain, long day without collapse, appetite and sleep in rhythm — it is participating in the day's offering. The Uddhava-gītā (Bhāgavata 11.13) frames the body as karma-yoga vessel, the cooperating partner. Joy × health sankalp on a yes-day is gratitude that the partner showed up, and offering onward rather than hoarding.

How to Live This Today
- When you notice the body is with you today, name it.
- Thank the body specifically — by what it did, not by what it is.
- Offer the day's work in its name, not only in yours.
- At night, return the gratitude before sleep.
Benefits
- Protects against taking good-body-days for granted
- Builds body-partnership register
- Especially valuable for those with chronic variable capacity
- Joy lands in the body's own participation
