"Today, I offer this wakefulness to what I serve."

The Sankalp

I woke clear-headed today — this clarity is not for me alone, and I offer it onward to the work, the people, the practice that this day asks of me.

The rare good-sleep morning is a kind of unearned gift, and bhakti-register response to gifts is onward-offering, not self-hoarding. The Bhagavad Gītā 9.27 frame — whatever you do, offer it — extends to whatever state you find yourself in. When the body gives you a clear morning, that clarity is itself an offering material. Joy × health × wakefulness is not 'I am optimizing my day' but 'I am offering this state onward.'

✦
  1. When you wake clear, name it — do not let it pass unmarked.
  2. Silently dedicate the day's clarity to a person or practice you serve.
  3. Let the offering direction-set the day.
  4. Return in the evening to see where the clarity went.
  • Rare-good-day reflex shifts from self-optimization to offering
  • Good health becomes sevaic rather than performative
  • Day carries a directedness from the start
  • Natural sattva accumulation
