"Today, I notice the skill that has ripened in me."
The Sankalp
The small mastery I have built through years of returning — I pause and let it be seen, not so I can display it, but so I can thank the path that shaped it.
Why This Matters
Bhagavad Gītā 18.47 teaches śreyān sva-dharmo viguṇaḥ — one's own dharma, even imperfectly done, is the native ground. Joy × work is the moment the craftsperson pauses mid-stride and recognizes: this hand moves differently than it did a decade ago. That is not pride. That is the silent gratitude of svadharma come to fruit.

How to Live This Today
- At the end of a work day, name one skill you used without thinking.
- Let yourself feel it as gift, not as credential.
- Thank the teachers, hours, and failures that made it.
- Do not chase the next rung — rest in the rung you stand on.
Benefits
- Reduced impostor-feeling
- Honest relationship with one's own competence
- Gratitude toward the path of training
- Joy is reclaimed from constant comparison
