"Today, I keep going without measuring."

The Sankalp

I do the practice and the work without checking today whether they are working.

The Gita describes the sthitaprajna — the one steady in wisdom — as one who does not rise with gain or fall with loss. Measuring every day is a subtle form of grabbing. Keep going. Measure rarely, if at all.

✦
  1. Put down the scorecard today.
  2. Do the practice and the work plainly.
  3. When the mind asks 'is it working?' — return to the next step.
  4. Measure, if at all, once a season.
  • Less anxious self-monitoring
  • Practice stays clean
  • Work gets done without the running commentary
