Dinacharya
"Today, I protect the final hour."
The Sankalp
In the last hour before sleep, I keep screens, arguments, and heavy input out of the room.
Why This Matters
What happens in the final hour shapes the sleep and the next morning. Ayurveda names this hour as the sandhi between waking and resting. Guarding it is a small act with a long return.

How to Live This Today
- Name the hour you intend to guard.
- Put screens down, or at least dim them.
- Avoid hard conversations in that hour.
- Let the room, the light, and the breath slow together.
Benefits
- Deeper sleep
- Calmer next morning
- Clear boundary between day and night
