Mitra v3.0 Stub
"Taper The Evening"
The Sankalp
I let the evening slow down gradually so the night can receive me fully.
Why This Matters
Sandhya refers to the transitional periods of the day — dawn, noon, and dusk — which are understood as natural thresholds between one mode of being and another. Aparigraha, applied to the evening, means releasing the day: its tasks, concerns, and stimulations rather than carrying them into the night. Tapering the evening is a way of honoring the sandhya transition so that the body and mind arrive at sleep prepared.
