Spiritual Growth
"Today, I trust dharma to sustain me."
The Sankalp
I live from what is true and right, and I trust that dharmic living itself is the ground of nourishment — for body, heart, and purpose.
Why This Matters
The Bhagavad Gita declares in 9.22: yoga-kshema vahamyaham — I carry what you need and preserve what you have. This is Ishvara as Poshaka, the Nourisher, promising that those who live in dharmic surrender are sustained. Gita 3.35 further grounds this: one’s own dharma, however imperfectly practiced, is the right path. Trust here is not passive waiting — it is the deep settledness that arises from svadharma: when I live truthfully and act rightly, I am not abandoned. Provision — whether health, clarity, relationship, or sustenance — flows from alignment with dharma, not from anxiety about securing outcomes.
