oṃ sarve bhavantu sukhinah sarve santu nirāmayāḥ sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu mā kaścid duḥkhabhāgbhavet

This Vedic mantra prays for universal happiness, health, and freedom from suffering. It fosters compassion, goodwill, and a sense of global unity. Chanting during group prayers or meditation promotes empathy and positive intentions. Regular practice enhances altruistic feelings and spiritual harmony.

ॐ

This mantra expands the field of compassion beyond what is immediately difficult to include everyone. That expansion itself is healing — the practitioner discovers that suffering held only for oneself is heavier than suffering held within the larger human condition. Universality makes it lighter.
